Others can see it in your face, hear it in your voice, but no one can feel your pain the way you feel it. I have degenerative disc disease and have been in pain 24/7 for several years. The pain has progressed rapidly in recent months. Visits to surgeons, x-rays, MRI’s, nerve block injections and even acupuncture have left me with little or no relief. Not only have I reached the point that I thought surgery was the only option, but I found myself starting to isolate from family and friends.
